I remember speaking to Deborah on the phone when we were interviewing doulas and being impressed with her great deal of experience which was one of my main priorities at the time. But when we met with Deborah for the first time, I was struck by the reverence with which she regarded this whole process and our conversation made me not only look forward to having a baby, but to the actual birth itself.
Deborah is incredibly knowledgeable and caring...and between her and our medical team, we felt so well taken care of. At our daughter's birth, Deborah was unbelievably attentive and creative when we encountered some tricky moments and she helped the process go smoothly. I had a great conversation with her about being a doula that night while we were waiting for my labor to advance and was inspired by the dedication she brings to her work.
